I went to BKFW on its last day to help out my friend, Adrian Alicea with some styling & prepartion for the show !
Though he is not from Brooklyn,
they just needed a prestigious designer to end the show with a BAM !
Using clothing from both of his “Erotic Birds” S/S 2012 & “Strange Fruit” F/W 2012’13 .
I really dont knowif BKFW was ready for it !
I met Adrian Alicea in Febuary when I went to one of his fitting
with one of his best models, Gina.
After meeting him I quickly wanted to be part of his amazing couture designs come about.
So I signed up to be an Intern for his show ” Strange Fruit ” for NYFW in Febuary ,
Its concept was vain , narcassistic fashion savvy vampire walkers !
Very elegant & chic .
To begin with it was in a church it could’nt get any crazier than that !

So when I contacted him too see how he was he told me If i was willing to help him out at BKFW .
Of course I was thrilled & did so !

It was so much fun ! So many nice garments to pick from didnt
know what will look right , I want some these pieces in my closet NOW !
The women did’nt really need any styling since most of them just had dresses .
Yes, this is real fur ! Really made a huge statement !
The gloves where made out of suede with many different colors.
With the tips made out of peacock feathers !
This outfit was my favorite one that I styled ,
the red looks so good with the brown pants .
Along with the fox fur hood , one of my absolute favs !

Backstage is always fun meeting the models and
getting to know them especially seeing them let loose .
Here’s a model getting her hair ready , almost time for the runway!
This maxi skirt was absoulty gorgeous !!!
I love the printing and the texture, very smooth and silky .

The covered faces of the models were lace ,
reminds me o so much of Alexander McQueen .
